When we rebuild an engine we remove all components and first hot tank the block to remove all dirt, grease and residue. Then we magnaflux the block and head to insure there are no cracks. The block is then inspected and then determined what the block needs cylinders bored or sleeved. Once the block has passed the machine shop we use all new parts such as pistons. rings, bearings, valves, etc. The crankshaft and camshaft are both inspected and ground and polished if necessary. Once the engine is rebuilt we prime and paint it and we break the engine in and it's ready to install.
